- Our client is a funds administration services company seeking to recruit a Trainee Administrator - Risk Compliance.
Overall purpose of the role:
To assist the Risk and Compliance Manager in the general administration of the risk and compliance department and all client entities administered by the company. To complete all assigned tasks and processes, operating within the controls, guidelines and procedures
Key responsibilities will include:
•Assist with Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews, including those relating trigger events and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
•Assist in the operation of the Anti-Money Laundering programme
•The input, review and reporting of relevant data
•Assist with the undertaking of reviews as part of the Compliance Monitoring
•Programme (CMP) and assist in the preparation of reports on the subsequent findings
•Assist in the operation of the Risk Assessment programme
•The handling of basic queries from staff regarding compliance and CDD matters, to include client screening and ongoing monitoring
•Support with the accurate and prompt checking of the various compliance databases
•Assist in the review, testing, maintenance and operation of relevant procedures and manuals
•Support with regulatory, audit and similar inspections
The successful candidate will have:
•Ideally 1 years’ experience within the finance industry preferred but not essential
•A minimum of 5 GCSE’s at A* - C grade including English and Maths
•Working towards or a desire to work towards a professional compliance qualification
