Our client is a private bank seeking to recruit a Senior Private Lending Administrator.

Job purpose/summary:

Working within the Private Lending department to deal with all aspects of credit applications, both new and existing, in a timely, accurate manner within Private Banking Policy and in a way that minimises potential risks to the Bank.

Main duties & responsibilities:

•Assisting in the processing of both new and renewal credit applications
•Liaising with lawyers where required
•Satisfactory completion of facility documentation and the perfection of security
•Instructing valuers and solicitors for mortgages
•Reviewing property valuations and report on titles
•General administration including preparation of documentation for scanning, archiving of documentation, creation of files and filing
•Setting up facilities, limits and collateral in core banking systems
•Assisting with credit procedure, development and implementation
•Such other duties as the Head of Private Lending may at times reasonably require

The successful candidate:

•It is desirable for the successful candidate to have a minimum of 10 years’ experience working within a similar area.
•Suitable professional qualification or working towards one..
•A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as collaboratively with senior and more junior colleagues.
•Prior experience of working with external counterparts, such as lawyers.
•Ability to work under pressure and deliver within established deadlines.
•Decision making ability – both independently and collectively.
•Prior experience working in a Private Banking environment.
