Description
Our client is a funds administration services company seeking to recruit a VP Private Equity Fund Accounting.

Overall purpose of the role:

working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Key responsibilities will include;

•Complete monthly/Quarterly Reporting Pack preparation.
•Maintain the general ledger and various sub-ledgers.
•Manage cash and Portfolio Reconciliations.
•Manage income and Expense Accruals.
•Process capital activity (calls/distributions/transfers).
•Complete management Fee & Waterfall calculations.
•Prepare and review trial balances.
•Prepare financial Statement preparation with footnotes.
•Manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables (SLAs).
•Act as liaison to various internal/external parties e.g. auditors.
•Interact directly with senior management and clients with appropriate escalation.

The successful candidate will have:

•10+ years’ experience in a similar role with Private Equity.
•Ideally degree qualified (2.1 and above) in Finance or have Accounting related degree.
•Strong academic record.
•Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc).
•Display an active interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry.
