- Our client specialises in offering life-insurance-based wealth management and employee benefit solutions to a global audience is seeking to recruit a Tax Reporting and Controls Associate.
Overall purpose of the role:
•Responsible for delivery of tax reporting within the company, in coordination with international locations and Group tax experts.
•Ensure effective governance and control for the FATCA/CRS reporting process and associated submissions.
•Handle communications and queries with the Revenue Service in Guernsey and other jurisdictions.
•Coordinate any data adjustments and communications to enhance data quality.
•Enhance and apply tax reporting procedures and controls as appropriate. Additionally, oversee activities of Operational Governance and Control Senior Administrator/Associate surrounding BCM, Identity and Access Management and Outsourcing Governance.
The successful candidate will be:
•A technically capable individual with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•Experience in handling data and data analysis
•Experience of FATCA and CRS reporting would be desirable
•Awareness of Business Continuity would be an advantage
•Ability to analyse and assimilate government guidance/documentation
•Strong English language skills with confidence in collaborating with people at all levels
•Strong proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Proactive attitude, with a control and governance mind-set
