- Our client specialises in the structuring, establishment, and administration of a wide range of International Pension Plans and Employee Benefit Solutions is seeking to recruit a Senior Pension Administrator.
Key responsibilities will include;
•Responsibility for the establishment and day-to-day administration of a variety of pension schemes and company related structures including; inter alia, RATS (multi member and bespoke), International Pension Plans, QNUPS and FURBS.
•Reporting to the relevant Line Manager/Director, in respect of client matters and assist with the training/supervision of departmental staff, in his/her absence on business or annual leave.
•Responsible for new client set-up and collation of relevant CDD together with periodic reviews for managed entities.
•Liaise with the relevant Line Manager/Director in preparing correspondence for individual clients, intermediaries, other professional advisers or organisations, in order to facilitate the timely administration of the managed entities.
•General administration including the maintenance of statutory records, tax records, completion of minutes/resolutions and file notes where necessary and monitoring of pension and company investments.
•Responsible for ensuring that accounting records are kept up-to-date together with the review of annual financial statements prepared.
The successful candidate will have:
•5+ years’ experience in a Pensions/Financial Services environment.
•A relevant professional qualification i.e. ICSA or STEP Diploma is desirable or significant progress towards obtaining same.
•Pension schemes knowledge and experience essential.
•Technical knowledge is a requirement together with the capacity to consider the tax and legal implications of a variety of transactions.
•Knowledge of accounting methods and financial statements.
•Training/supervisory skills would be an advantage.
•Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook. A working knowledge of Acumen is desirable but training will be provided if necessary.
