- Our client is a private bank and wealth management company seeking to recruit an Officer, CST First Line Control.
Overall purpose of the role:
This role is a critical position in ensuring the Bank meets all its regulatory obligations with regards to their client base whilst supporting the Front Office in ensuring all processes are as smooth as possible for the client. To carry out the required testing in regard to client on-boarding, periodic and trigger event reviews and other First Line Testing as required ensuring that the requirements of Group Financial Crime Minimum Standards (GFCMS) are satisfactorily adhered to. To administer the Bank’s testing programme for Approved Introducers. To assist in data reporting as required and updating of data held in Bank systems. To provide assistance to the Front Office in relation to queries around the onboarding/review process.
Key responsibilities will include;
•Efficient testing of Front Office new client on-boarding, periodic reviews and trigger reviews and other processes as required to ensure adherence to GFCMS
•Administration of the annual testing programme for Approved Introducers to ensure compliance with GFSC Handbook and GFCMS requirements, liaison with Approved Introducers to sample test and subsequent reporting of findings.
•Support the Front Office as necessary with client on-boarding/review requirements
The successful candidate will have:
•A background in a banking control/testing environment, experienced in the requirements for client due diligence
•Have or be working to a relevant professional AML/ compliance qualification
•Strong knowledge of the GFSC Handbook
•Have/developed a thorough knowledge and application of AML requirements
•Have/developed a thorough knowledge of the Bank's Group Financial Crime Minimum Standards
•Have/ developed system skills to include Word, Excel, T24, Imanage and CMP
